PREP GIRLS CELEBRATE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT SUCCESS

Our U11 team enjoyed great success at the IAPS Girls’ Football Championships on Friday 8 November, achieving an impressive second place in this tough national competition.
The Independent Association of Prep Schools’ (IAPS) inaugural girls’ football tournament took place at Amesbury School in Surrey and, following a couple of wins in the group stage, we reached the semi-finals as the top seed from our group.
A back and forth semi finished 0-0, which could only mean one thing: penalties! Following some great shots and saves we came out as winners and went on to face a strong and talented Lambrook School in the final. After a really tough match, Lambrook came out on top.
Congratulations to Florence, Marta, Roshini, Saffy, Ella, Hettie, Holly, Chloé and Emmy, who worked so hard to achieve such a fantastic result!
