STAHS provides an education for life; and for us, this means so much more than classroom learning. Our expansive and dynamic co-curriculum provides pupils with the opportunity to explore new and interesting ideas and to discover hobbies and passions that will stay with them long after they leave school.
There really is something for everyone. For some, it鈥檚 the thrill of taking part in one of the dozens of recreational and competitive sports on offer, others are drawn to the adventure and comradery of the Duke of Edinburgh鈥檚 Award. From chamber music and choirs to the production of plays and musicals, from organising House activities to participating in chess tournaments, all passions and interests are catered for.

Drama
STAHS Drama caters to the diverse interests and passions of all pupils with an interest in theatre arts.听 We stage at least four productions each year and participate in local and national festivals.

Music
Music at STAHS is an integral part of School’s life with over 40 instrumental groups running per week. From pop bands to string quartets, swing bands to early music ensembles, chamber choirs to a cappella group, there is something for everyone.

Sport
Sport at STAHS is incredibly popular, with most pupils taking part in regular sport and fitness activities. Many of our pupils love competition and we run multiple squads in many team in and individual sports. We also offer a wide range of recreational sporting activities.
